Mike has taught hundreds of students over the last 20 years, young and old.
Mike's classical guitar is a favorite at Chicago area weddings and corporate events.
As a member of a couple of local bands, Mike has played some of the biggest stages in Chicago.
Between lessons and local shows, Mike likes to express himself in various art mediums.
It has long been known that children who are involved in structured study of a musical instrument or other art form develop better math and reasoning skills, have a better defined understanding of responsibility, and are generally more knowledgeable in areas of art and culture.
With Schools continuing to cancel art and music programs, private instrument study is a great alternative to foster a child's imagination and provide a growing sense of self confidence!Lessons build responsibility, manual dexterity, and some consider it about the same as learning a foreign language.
Lessons are not just for children or teenagers, but can be enjoyed by adults who have "always wanted to play guitar".

• In home lessons at the student's residence are $120.00 per four 30 minute lessons (paid monthly). Reschedules are acceptable with 24 hour notification.

Mike is an awesome teacher! He makes you feel very comfortable and emphasizes that music should be fun. I have no background in music and Mike is teaching me the uke. I would recommend anyone to start taking lessons with Mike!

I am 46 years old and had ZERO musical background and While I wanted to learn to play the guitar I was dreading the same boring music stuff I experienced in high school and shunned. Not that case here! Mike keeps it fun and has a teaching style that has zero intimidation. Mike has taught me a hobby that is relaxing and I can keep doing the rest of my life. I hope to take lessons from him for a long time. I highly recommend going to him for lessons.

My son had his first lesson with Mike and he was incredible!!! My son really connected with him! He had a great way of delivering the lesson by keeping it light, fun but direct to the point.

A great teacher, and very easy to work with. I have a fairly chaotic schedule from week to week, and he continues to be flexible with my lesson times to accommodate that. Highly recommended.

Mike’s a super cool friendly and the most important- tolerant instructor! He understands your taste and teaches you whatever you want and even writes his own music and shares with me. I have a very erratic schedule but he understands my issues and accomodates the schedule changes as per my availability even with a short notice. Even after you are done with your session he’s available whenever u need him be it over the phone or skype. If you really wanna learn guitar trust Mike and I higly recommend going to him.

Mike is great! He is awesome about scheduling lessons around our busy schedule, and is always on time and ready to teach. He does a great job of tailoring lessons around music our son is interested in, but also makes sure he adds theory into the lessons to give him a good foundation. All-around great teacher!!! Highly recommend!!
